1st Heath Hayes Scout Group was originally started in 1980 to serve the area of Heath Hayes and its local families.
What 1st Heath Hayes has to offer
We offer the following Sections at 1st Heath Hayes.
Squirrels (4-6 Years Old)
Every week, Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities.
Beavers (6-8 Years Old)
When you join Beavers, you’ll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and things.
Cubs (8-10½ Years Old)
Every week, they gather in groups called Cub Packs to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities.
Scouts (10½-14 Years Old)
Being a Scout is all about growing and learning. Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Scout Troops to conquer the small task of changing the world.
Explorers (14-18 Years Old)
Explorers are a go-getting group of young people. Every week, they gather in groups called Units to develop independence, confidence and leadership skills to equip them for the future.
Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE)
The DofE is an awards programme which gives young people the chance to build confidence in an empowering, exciting and non-competitive learning environment.

When do we meet?
Squirrels: (4-6yrs) Monday 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Beavers: (6-8yrs) Tuesday & Wednesday 5.30pm - 7:00pm
Cubs: (8-10½yrs) Monday & Thursday 6:45pm - 8.15pm
Scouts: (10½-14yrs) Wednesday 7.15pm - 8:45pm
Explorers: (14-18yrs) Tuesday 7:15pm - 8:45pm
We meet during Term Time only.
